1. Who we are

  1. This app is operated by Palisade Studios Limited, based in New Zealand ("we", "us", "our").
  2. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.

2. Who can use the app

  1. You must:
    • be at least 18 years old;
    • be legally able to enter into a contract; and
    • comply with all applicable laws.
  2. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms.

3. The service

  1. We provide a digital app designed to support reflection, communication, and guided conversations.
  2. The app:
    • does not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice; or
    • does not replace professional counselling or therapy.
  3. You use the app at your own discretion.

4. Your responsibilities

  1. You must not:
    • use the app for unlawful, abusive, or harmful purposes;
    • attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the app;
    • access or attempt to access the app with a robot or other automated system;
    • access or attempt to access other users' data.
  2. You are responsible for the content you submit.

5. Accounts and subscriptions

  1. Authentication is handled via a third-party provider.
  2. Subscriptions are managed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewals, and refunds are governed by the relevant store's terms.

6. Intellectual property

  1. We own all rights to the app, software, branding, and content we provide.
  2. You retain ownership of content you submit.
  3. You grant us a licence to retain and process your content to operate the service.

7. Availability

  1. We aim to keep the app available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
  2. The service may change, pause, or end at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, the app is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months, or NZD $0 if you paid nothing.
  2. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot exclude under NZ consumer law.

9. Termination

  1. You may terminate your service by cancelling your subscription.
  2. We may suspend or terminate access if required for legal, security, or operational reasons.

10. Governing law

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and disputes are subject to New Zealand courts.
